This birthday was a very normal and intimate party for a 9 years old girl but a few things that ended up happening totally by coincidence made it pretty unforgettable.
The first thing was a big and unusual storm that started that night.
The second thing was that because of the storm there was no electricity from the middle of the party and it only came back the next morning. This means that most of the party was celebrated at the light of flashlights which made it very tricky for me to photograph.

The third thing that happened that night was that the government declared that from the next day on schools were canceled until further notice because of COVID-19. This ended up being my last photography job until things got back to normal more than two months later.
So I think that I’ll never forget this birthday party.
